1. Does OCANIA provide home pickup service?
Yes. For every vehicle pickup at your residence, a reasonable rate will be charged depending on the distance and location.
2. What documents are required for customs clearance?
Required documents include: a copy of IC (front & back), vehicle ownership letter, bank release letter (if still under loan), and SSM documents or Form 9 & 49 (if under company name).
3. Can I ship a vehicle that is still under a loan?
Yes, but you need to obtain written permission from your bank. Approval usually takes 1-3 working days.
4. How long does customs clearance take in Sabah/Sarawak?
It takes 1 to 2 working days for customs clearance after the ship arrives.
5. How long is the shipping duration to Sabah & Sarawak?
Port Klang to Kota Kinabalu: 6-8 days; Port Klang to Kuching: 8-10 days (including customs clearance).
6. Can I ship a vehicle with outstanding summons?
Yes. Outstanding summons do not prevent the shipping process.
7. When must payment be made?
Door-to-door: full payment before vehicle pickup. Port-to-port: full payment before handover.
8. Is marine insurance provided?
Marine insurance is optional and covers loss/damage of cargo during port-to-port or door-to-door transportation.
9. Can I place items inside the vehicle?
It is not recommended as per the shipping company policy. Small items of low value may be accepted but the company is not responsible for any loss/damage.
